Tonight's show is putting me to sleep - jokes falling flat, no interesting comments, audience quieter than AAMI stadium , forgetting their lines. Everyone looks like they are going through the motions. What's happened since the Worsfold interview show?

The Footy Show has been shit for years. The penny has finally dropped for you hondo.

Does seem a bit flat lately, maybe they should move it around the nation a bit like they used to in order to spark it up?

Fully agree! Its just petty. Also anyone else over the Gary Lyon strecher incident! Last night was one of the worst in a long time.
Gary is 2 smug, James is doin it 4 his career, trevor has a gem every now and again, Shane is a joke, Fevola is a wanker(just waitin 4 someone to crack a joke about Lara Bingle to him). Craig Hutchinson is a tool. So why do we watch

I think the footy show is great. Keeps going from strength to strength.

Billy Brownless is a genious! Sam clearly just says the outrageous stuff to create a reation.

The stretcher thing will always be funny IMO. So will Billy getting in 'that' goal. I love it!

It is a whole lot better now than it was in Eddie's last two to three years on the show.

I don't mind it that much, but yes, I too am over the Garry Lyon strecher. It was funny last year.

The NRL Footy Show, on the other hand, is much better than the AFL version. Matty Johns is a genius playing Reg Reagan, Trent the Flight Steward and Randy Discotelli! If you haven't seen the Reg Reagan "ALL OF ME" DVD, I suggest you do! You will love it!

I haven't watched it for a few years now.

They are old adults that want to be teenagers...

They just never grew up....

He is so out of place in this show. He is a smart cookie and he gets dragged down by nuffs like Sam. And Jim doin that "u can keep ur shirt on" bit!!!! That was shockin, i felt sorry 4 him. Definatly great 4 ur profile to host the footy show, but workin with Sam comes loss of credibility.

My question at the end is similar to we the fact we all laugh in disgust at the advertiser, but we all still read it! I meant ot in the same way.

well you can only ressurect the same jokes over & over again for a limited time

as we all know the rugby show is a lot better show & the footy show has been ordinary (they do have an occaisional good one) for 5 or 6 years, i only watch it to get the teams

The show is slipping big time. Too much time spent on trivial crap, the team line-ups are either long-winded or rushed throuhg and the best segment "Almost Footy Legends" is on too late. Luckily to get the teams I now watch League Teams on Foxtel.

The NRL Footy Show is in as much trouble as its AFL cousin.

Rates like a dog, which is putting its future at Nine into question.

Reg Reagan is funny in five minute sketches but that's it.

Trent and Randy just aren't funny at all...

The show is a heck of a lot better when Crawf is on the panel.

I reckon they are struggling big time at the moment- they need less scripted humour and more spontaneous stuff- choosing panels without cameron ling, dal santo, thompson who is an absolute stain IMHO, luke hodge Zzzzzzzzzz will help. They either need to get serious and talk about some footy, or take the piss and get us laughing- at the moment they do neither.

They need raise the level on intellect, maybe they could get Doug Hawkins back?
