Not the best way to have started the season with four losses apiece.
Melbourne seem to be up and down in their performance, yet whether the promise of a better year next year will be enough to keep Daniher and co in the job next year remains to be seen.
Terry Wallace on the other hand has informed supporters it will be three more years before they get close to the prize, whether or not that keeps the Richmond Faithful faithful who knows?
Still they have to play each other eventually I suppose!

Doesn't get any easier for either side this week. Melbourne play in Sydney and Richmond come up against West Coast.
Melbourne are missing some key players but reports from the game (including McAlmanac's) aren't too flattering for the Dees.

Take Neitz, Robbo, Johnstone, Rivers, McLean & Moloney out of any team and they will struggle.
Rochmond on the other hand dont have the same reasons

Neitz the only champion player in that group. McLean an emerging champion, Robbo and Johnstone merely handy and what has Beamer and Rivers done again? When Neiter goes Melbourne are in as much trouble as Richmond.

Just doing my stats into my spreadsheet for the game and Richmond and Melbourne have one common denominator for all their losses to date, apart from not winning....a cream bun to the first one who picks it up!!!

Obviously not as much talent just with the two of them, but Nathan Brown and Mark Coughlan would be two pretty big outs for the Tiges.

Adelaide has no Roo, Johncock, Shirley, Biglands, Henschel, McGregor and Bode, and the club still finds a way not only to be competitve but a way to win
In regards to Daniher, he should not be judged on this year alone but on his ten years at the club
Ten years is a long time at a club, considering the Demons have not won a flag in that period and the inconsistency of the team from year in year out, maybe it wil be time for a fresh change and new direction

Victorian born player wants to return home, it's treason. An ex-South Aussie wants to, the Vics are pricks for standing in his way....
