Talk about cheap stats - they just handball it around in the centre - amassing a record 228 handballs. No one got less than 10 possessions.
The 469 disposals is League record as well, beating the 441 set by Collingwood in Round 15 1991.
Still, I guess it reflects the dominance on the scoreboard - 14.16 to 4.15.

How many did Carlton get?
That would give you a better idea of how one team was more dominant.

Good question Mr66 - I wonder how the game total possessions (both teams combined) ranks all time?

293.
762 is the 7th highest combined possessions in a match in the AFL since 1991, and equal 15th if you combine that with the SANFL.

176.
So if a players averages 15-20 disposals during a game, then that be like
having an extra 8-10 players extra on the field.
