He plays for St.Kilda, it should go without saying.
And he had 21 teamates as well.

Of course he should be playing AFL football. The annoying little bugger has some talent.

A better question would be - can anyone nominate a dumber individual in the AFL than Stephen Milne?

Fevola comes close. Don't confuse drug use with lack of intelligence.

So when has Gardiner been accused of being involved in drugs?

Did i mention drug use? Running away from a booze bus and wading through a river to escape (allegedly), jumping up and down on the boot of a taxi (allegedly) all while knowing full well how high a profile you have. Don't sound like bright sparks to me.

Just heard on Channell 10 that Grant Thomas has come out in the media and said that, after he was sacked as coach, he initiated a discussion with Stephen Milne in which he told Milne that he would have sacked him as a St Kilda player if he had still been the coach in 2007. Thomas claims he felt Milne "needed to know".

Odd, even irrational, behaviour. What could be the cause of odd behaviour?

Maybe a better way to put it would be to not confuse lack of intelligence with lack of character.

Dud. He's been dining out on that for so long there's no flesh left on the bones.

Small forward is one of the hardest spots to play on the ground, you're expected to do alot of good with a little of the ball.I think some of you are confusing your dislike of the bloke with a perceived lack of ability. Not saying he is a star,I dont like him much, but think he is servicable*.

wasnt it 12 goals v brisbane? dunno, could be wrong, and also, was that 2 years ago?

if the afl works like that, imagine the conversation Shane Woewodin had with Neil Balme and Mick Malthouse when given the word that he was getin the sack?
"but i won the brownlow 3 years ago!"

when milne gets the ball, the only thing on his mind is "goal". trys to squirm his way out of every tackle, mite work 1 out of ten times. then people say "look how good he is, just evades the tackle and kicks the goal". would be interesting to see how many holding the ball free kicks he gives away.

Milne has excellent goal sense and is one of the most accurate kicks in the AFL , unfortunately he seriously lacks in decison making when under pressure . Until there is a better small forward with pace to replace him he is safe .

He deserve to more than Ian perrie, who is the league worst player, the only player i think i ever seen that was worst was when Ty Zantuk played. Stephen Milne although he is a little annoying 5hit, doesnt make he a pathetic player. He has got speed, agility and can read the play well. There are of course asspects of his game he needs to improve like, finding a team mate more often and not trying to be Kevin Bartlett, he also needs to know how to stop and slip over all the time. Otherwise Milne is actually an alright player, I just dont like him cause he scores goals agaisnt us at crucial times. So I think you need to look a bit more at the league and the players in it before you crucify players

totally agree about Ian Perrie, although watching him in yesterdays showdown was a surprise.
