Click through the TV guide today to find out where I can watch My Roos pump the Pies....and it aint on!....not on FTA or Fox...

Instead both Fox and Ch 10 are covering the Power/Freo game at 3-30pm

so I can get the Power game on 2 channels but miss the Roos game? ....

Im sooo dark, last year the Roos game would have at least been on Fox and Im just a lonely Roos fan, Id imagine there are many more Pies fans here in Adelaide than Roos fans who would be equally as dark...

reading thru some posts on another board and you can get the game live in India and the US today but not in Adelaide...

I am in disbelief that I cannot sit down and watch Saturday afternoon football. I have Foxtel and yet I STILL CAN’T SEE THE FREAKING GAME.

This is an absolute farce, something has to be done.

But I have Foxtel, surely then every game should be available to me? You can't even see all the games if you have Fox!

Wrong Doggie, the games shown on Foxtel these days NEVER got shown on FTA..

Its bullshit NFC...fancy 2 channels having the same game on but ignoring a game that would probably get better ratings here than the power game...

On friday nights in the NOrthern states they are showing Friday night footy on the Main Event channel LIVE...why not do the same with us today? your better off being a AFL fan in NSW or Qld these days....

Don't worry mate - when Telstra/Foxtel complete their takeover of AFL they'll run multiple channels and if you ante up $50/month for each channel you'll be guaranteed every game - you just won't be able to eat. But that won't matter they'll have signed your estate up to a 5 year minimum contract and they'll still get paid after you're gone!

Brisbane today had the Pies/Roos game on FTA and Freo vs Port on Foxtel.

Tonight we get Brisbane vs Hawthorn on both FTA and Foxtel!
No Sydney vs Weagles coverage!

I must be dreaming, I am watching CH10 at the moment, I was sure that the Red & White team was Sydney, and the Blue & Gold WCE, I must be losing it

No doubt that Power / Crows fans in Adelaide and Eagles / Dockers fans in Perth are the least affected by the new deal. If you are based in those cities and support a Melbourne-based team you are in for a frustrating season it seems. I would have thought that Foxtel subscribers would be OK though however that doesn't seem to be the case.

One of the main reason I got Foxtel was so I could see the roos 95% of the time as they are rarely on FTA...going to be some stern phone calls/emails this week

All Port and Cows away games are live on FTA, so when both are scheduled to cover the same game, what do you want them to do? Show the game that will probably be 15th v 16th at the end of the year and not cover a game they said they would?

In other words 'I'm all right jack get your hands off my stack'. They could have put the other game on the Main Event channel maybe? With all of the cash on offer something should have been organised. It doesn't matter which logo is on the lapel, fans have a right to be pi55ed off about this.

It wont return because it never happened to begin with. Weve never seen every AFL game on FTA.

Even though it was my game which caused it, it was strange not watching the Saturday Arvo game at 1:30.

Id say unfortunately get used to it as its gonna happen quite a few times this year.

Strangely enough, I was in a pub on Swan Street (just up the road from the G) and saw the Roos game live with a feed via that NT service (whatever it's called).

UMmmmm YES to all your questions, thats what they have done for the past 5 years you fool....if you think having the same game on 2 channels make any sense.....nah settle Dutchy dont say it...

last year in this scenario they would have put Ch 10's coverage on Fox and Fox's coverage of the Port game on Ch 10.

Definately weird and not coordinated as well as it used to.
And today Fox has Adelaide live from Adelaide in Adelaide, Mrs Wedgie is happy but it means Im relegated to the computer to watch the Cats on Channel 7!
