I think is playing his 100th game this weekend (if not it's still appropriate imho) and should be well congratulated for that ... A genuinely good bloke off the field, who was never going to be a superstar but who has scrounged every inch of ability out of his body, coupled with a fantastic work ethic, he should be highly commended for his efforts.

Still trying to work through the ones on Fiacchi, Northeast and Ginever ... You might have to ask Macca yourself for research bud

I'd put Michael Doughty in the same boat - recently passed 100 games and also a player who makes the most of his ability

Not sure about the Gary McIntosh reference? I always thought of him as one of the most skilled players in the SANFL in his era - I felt that the State of Origin game at the MCG in 1989 would have gone a lot better if Macca (and Chris McDermott) had played. To me, Macca was a guy with lots of talent who also made the most of it. Maybe that is what you meant.

Robert Shirley .... =D>

Yep I haven’t always rated him too highly, but it’s a great effort for him to reach 100 games.
