Ricciuto worse than first thought?

Postby MW » Tue Mar 27, 2007 9:13 pm

Mark Aiston on Channel 10's sports news tonight mentioned that Ricciuto is now in a neck brace of some sorts? WTF?
Does not sound good....

Further to this, I found this on AFL.com.au, might be a reaction to the epidural

John Reid was on KG & Cornesy .... apparently Ricciuto's neck "went" today - so bad he couldn't stand up. Shipped off to bed on doctor's orders. Officially a big worry

thinking outside the square (& likely to offend everyone is SA), & being sceptical, imagine this scenario- given the current heat relating to drug use, would you rather be a) declared to be a known drug user or b) go out on your own terms- a career ending injury looks much better on the CV than a black drug cloud.
Not suggesting for 1 minute that is the case with Ricciuto, but is food for thought...

The berley worked a treat Punk, now bait your hook!

As for Roo... You gotta feel for the big fella.
Sadly IMO the Brownlow Medal winning Captain's playing days are numbered if at all!
Definitely a matchwinner, along with James Hird & Michael Voss he's truly one of the
great inspiring leaders of the game in recent years!
GO THE GROWL!!!

being based in WA, perhaps you'd realise drugs & footballers are not like Father Christmas & fairies in the end of the garden- drugs in football exist (unless you happen to be AFL heirachy/an Ostriche on a very sandy beach)

No of course you aren't suggesting that .... you just mention his name and suggest that we "think" about your hypothetical, unfounded, malicious rumour. Good one Punky  . You will probably do the old "just baiting the hook" line soon in a lame attempt to back pedal.

Boys be carefull with you are posting. Unless you have hard evidence to back up your claims be bloody carefull. three post have been deleted because after discussing amongst the Mods we thought they were over the line.

Anything we think alleges illegal activity without hard evidence will be canned.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Which internet forum "rule book" did you get that from? You can't make unsubstantiated allegations or defame people in any public forum. This site (or the internet generally) is no different to writing letters to the editor at the Advertiser.

It's not just the people who post who are subject to defamation laws, the people who run the site and potentially even the ISP can get stung. Do some reaearch and type "Australian defamation laws" in to your search engine.

How about if I raised some allegations about you on this site? Maybe quoting someone who knows someone who heard something? You would be as upset as I would be.

Just remember I said this.

If the AFL decides to make banned substances to zero tolerance
then there would be some very very very very nervous players
There MIGHT be some AFL players on thier last chance at this present time
3 strikes=bingo
Purely speculative on my behalf of course.....
