BUCKLEYS CHANCE

Superstar CO player Nathan BUCKLEY has pulled a Shane WATSON.
BUCKLEY is likely to miss 6 games.
This is the other hamstring to the serious one a couple of years ago.
CO without BUCKS are BUCKLEYS chance to win a flag.

Might look like the incredible hulk but at mid 30s those hammys are suspect.

When that photo of Buckley was splashed all over the papers, I said to my mate that I didn't think it wise for a 34 year old with suspect hamstrings to put on a lot of bulk. I still don't.

Players his age should be slimming down.
And with his hamstring history seems all the more ridiculous.
But.. he's Collingwood scum so who cares. :-({|=

do i sense a tad of the old "tall-poppy syndrome" sneakin in here? he's collingwood scum? how many south australians would have a completely diffrent opiniun of him if he took up Port Adelaides offer of the captaincy back in '97? unless your a crows supporter, then your thought on him would probably be the same.

I thought the same at the time. I also remembered that several years ago the Pies were talking about how he was slimming down to prolong his career.

I fear this year will be, and with his recent injury record, probably should be his last season.

Sad to see two greats of this current generation of AFL players looking likely to go out in this way.
