I am talking about their jumper design, it is hideous.

You need to bear in mind that whenever Port come up with a design for a jumper they have to get it approved by the board of the Collingwood Football Club before they can wear it, :prayer:

in this case, this was likely the design that Collingwood were prepared to accept. :roll:

They were probably lucky, on one occasion when Port played Collingwood at Football Park, they had to wear their Aqua training guernesy so there wouldent be any clash and so that it would be picked up better on TV.

Port seem to have alot of different designs of jumpers, I think two would be better for continuity for the club, yet while Collingwood exist in the AFL, you wont see Port wearing a predominantly black and white jumper as their fans find it offensive. :butthead:

1997 Power's first season in the AFL...
Collingwood's President Allan McAlister made a wager to let Ports wear the Black & White
'Prison bars' if the Power finished higher on the ladder than the Carringbush...
Ports did, & the Magpies welched! :roll:
