Did they say how bad the injury to Aaron Davys knee/ankle is?

Dispapointing result for the All Stars, was a lot easier when they played the Bulldogs and had Roey in the side!

by all reports the Davey injury isn't too bad

on the game, the Bombers went in with a tall side, while the all stars, they definitely lacked talls, was forced to play a small side full of runners, so this was probably the significant factor in the result

Macca won the Polly Farmer medal

Good call reference tall Sydney-dog --- also felt Bombers played as a team unit while All Stars played a lot of individual football.

Enjoyed watching the game

Good to see the Mighty Bombers back & playing as a cohesive unit!
Hopefully with an injury free 2007, the nightmare that was the 2006 AFL season
would just be a distant bad memory!

GO YOU DONS!!!

I see the paper today described the All Star team as a team of ruck rovers with 2 talls, probably a fair assessment.

2006 injuries what a poor excuse

more like cant play without Llyod or Hird.... WB had four times more injuries then the Bombers and still made the 8, actually the crows had more players miss total games and still made top 4

Sheedy's bluffed you too

I gotta admit mate, losing Lloydy early last year WAS the telling blow what sent
the Bombers 2006 season down the gurgler! :-#

your right, the club did not recover from losing Llyod, this was because they did not change the game plan

when the WB lost almost all of their key talls, they significantly changed their style and the result, they remained competitve enough to win games and to make the 8

Sheed's still had enough core players and good young players to win more then 3 games, but he has bluffed the footy world once again
