looks like another recon for Mark Coughlan

big loss for the tigers considering they lack depth with their midfield

I did think when Rchmond scored a coup in getting Terry Wallace as coach that they were on the cusp of breaking through to a crack at the finals, yet everything seems to have pretty much turned to sh*t for Richmond in recent years and this year is likely to be no better if not worse.

- From the ABC,

Monday, 5 February 2007. 19:30 (AEDT)

Richmond have suffered a massive blow with key midfielder Mark Coughlan requiring a second knee reconstruction, ruling him out of the entire 2007 season.

Coughlan injured his knee against Hawthorn in round 12 last year and was expecting to be able to return for the upcoming campaign.

But doctors have since advised him that he needs another operation.
