The clubs are failing severely in this area.
What is the point of the Crows using a Red jumper v Melbourne/Brisbane etc- why not a yellow jumper against "red" sides, & the red jumper against "yellow"/lighter coloured sides?
Then again, how can the AFL get this right, as they couldn't even get the Umpires in a clash free uniform for a while...

Melbourne v Freo was disgraceful in the finals. One of the problems, is that the clubs have "busier" jumpers today (& more colours) that make it hard for clubs to avoid a clash. Geelong having 3 claw marks across there jumper does nothing to avert a clash, but increases the amount of on-field "distraction. I think the clubs should have simpler designs to start with.

Port's clash jumper won't be mainly silver. It's going to more like half silver half teal.

lets not have a clash jumper just for a marketing ploy, the AFL knows which jumpers clash, they should ensure that the clash jumpers are disgned for the intended purpose

Yep interesting to see Nike have been burnt by Port Power, when it is still listed as sponsor.

Mind you they are copying the Adelaide footy club by selling guernseys at $30 as Adelaide did last year prior to the launch of their new addidas sponsorship......

Dead set give away when jumpers that are normal $100 + go out for >60% off

Might have to email or call God and KG a call tomorrow vis a vis a rumour......

bring on Reebok.....

Any truth to the rumour that we're changing our nickname?

To Port Adelaide Spider-Men or Port Adelaide Fountain?

They wouldn't wear it against those sides, it is a clash jumper, not an away jumper.

Wrong!!!

At least everyone will shut up about Freo's guernsey now. This is the funniest thing Port have done yet (besides all that choking).

Hmm where is all that tradition (black and white) they go on about.....

yes I know it is a 'clash jumper" but you'd think they include some white (and not just in the logos and potentially the numbers) to keep the "fans" happy vis-a-vis their history and tradition......

Im happy to reserve my opinion on this design until I see it in the flesh. At this stage I am a little unsure, shitty images on a pc do little justice to a guernsey seen up close. If the colour is the green on there at the moment, compared to the light blue we currently assosciate with the Power,I will be a little bemused.I also got hold of some cheaper merchandise as Tassie mentioned, nice jacket, was $160,got it for $90!
