And apparently Lightning’s poll was an offensive and immature post that we should be better than ?

Noone said it was offensive but yes there is a difference between trying to put down and have people gang up on individuals than having a bit of fun with someone misspelling Hawkins. LMs topic was virtually asking who the biggest nuffy is between Booney and Dubbsy and I don't like that.
And I didn't ask for LMs post to be removed and only removed it at his request.
I did tell him if there was any fallout to it I'd cop it though, thanks for proving me right.
I can put it back if you like? I don't care.

I’m not sure what I’ve proven to be right, and I wouldn’t classify my comment as fallout, but anyway.

You're having a go at me for making a humerous post having a fun go at a mate's spelling of Hawkins before it was editted despite LM's post being "offensive and immature" clearly having a go at me.
I told LM by Private Message when he asked for his topic to be removed that I was reluctant as I knew some arse clown would use it as cannon fodder against me despite my sole concern for other regular posters on this site not myself but LM insisted he would cover me being quite apologetic.
You proved my thoughts completely correct.

Wedgie, LM’s post was about people who are alive and well.
He deliberately mentioned people like Booney, Wubbsy and myself as he knows we wouldn’t be offended.

Your post was related to a dead person.

They’re not the same IMO

You can’t reference dead people in a joke
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Shit, sorry, didn't know we couldn't show photos of famous dead people, will amend the rules of the site accordingly.
And once again it was LM that asked for his post to be removed despite me protesting.

Geez, I wasn't having a go at Stephen Hawkings, I'm a big fan of his work.
I was having a fun go at a mate misspelling Tom Hawkins name.
You're taking the piss aren't you? :?

Once again told ya LM!

You proved my thoughts completely correct.

My post/topic was in no way a having a go at you, wubbsy won my vote FWIW and as I've stated previously, I should've used the term "passionate" instead of "one-eyed".

I'll own my error and yes, I did message you insisting that you remove the thread and I will take ownership of the removal.

I maintain that there was no malice intended towards anyone whatsoever, everyone supports their team in their own manner and that is their own prerogative, it doesn't affect my time in the house at all. If I don't like a comment I can either reply or scroll on, it's generally the latter.

Can we all play nicely now...............until next weekend at least anyway :)

I know it wasn't having a go at me mate but as IMHO was virtually asking who the biggest nuffy was I had concerns about others.
It was mots that had a go at me, not you and he's apologised so all good.
My only concern was I'd unfairly cop shit for your topic and have since been proven right, it always happens despite looking out for others.

Without arses we'd explode with shit coming out of our ears so they're a good thing and clowns make us laugh, another good thing!
I feel like George Costanza reflecting on why ma-nure is a good thing!

What's Hawkins going to get for looking at his phone or a phone?
Is it that big a deal?
