Essendon coughing it up and turning the ball over coming out of their defensive 50 a few times now, oh boy.

If the Bombers can knockout Ginnivan I'd call that a win

Nothing going right for the Bombers, almost everything they try is going wrong but kicking the ball short backwards and sideways consistently isn't going to do much for them. The defensive half turnovers are bad, they're lucky Collingwood haven't been able to captalise on them more.

They checked out a month ago.
Just got to keep cutting the list and hope that a new list manager can pick some gems in the draft.
We should have gone the full rebuild years ago and hopefully these last few weeks makes it easier to chop the deadwood

Agree, 130 games is not guard-worthy. The Bristle would have been secretly fuming.

Walla got a bit of Dean Rioli about him. A favourite of mine years ago. Both forwards, skillfull, new were the goals were. Played heavy. From memory Rioli spent time away from the club also?

Remember leaving Footy Park one day to head to the 5th quarter and the Bombers players were boarding their bus and a mate of mine shouted "Hey Rioli you big fat rissole" he turned, had a chuckle and moved on. I can assure you the taunt was based on the sound of his surname, nothing else.

He did, I’ll never forget when he came back overweight he said “I’ve been on the turtle”

Yes, unfortunately Dean and Walla have different reasons for their weight issues. Dean was always a larger frame but indulged in the turtle’s too much when he went home.
Walla has serious issues that has led him to this point and the battle was just too hard in the end.
He was gifted a farewell game and guard of honour such is the respect that not only Essendon but opposition clubs have for him and they know the hardship and road he went down just to play AFL footy let alone be ok at it if even only for a few years.
