Zero chance that the VFL will play an extra round and have all the Victorian teams travel.
Victoria and Queensland are the only states with 2 suitable venues. Can’t play 9 games in 3 days anywhere else

Tassie and Sydney?
Perhaps Sydney but doubtful Tassie.
They ain’t going to schedule a round designed for fans in a place that has two tinpot stadiums
Having it in Victoria would guarantee the biggest crowds if that’s what they are trying to achieve

Would think it would be in either Sydney or Brisbane with an eye to 'grow' the game in the non footballing states.

Or Port vs any of those.

Norwood? They moved a game (possibly games) due to the condition of the oval. No way the AFL will let a game be played in muddy conditions these days.

Norwood?

Noarlunga, Richmond and Elizabeth would hold far more and have all hosted AFL preseason matches so infrastructure is there.

Not muddy in April or May. Norwood won't be allowed to use it either. Another plus...

April is around the start of the season so perhaps you blokes could come down to the Parade for round 1 and see what a Premiership flag unfurling looks like ;)

Norwood can hold a little over 20K.

Richmond 16.5K

Elizabeth 18K

Noarlunga depends on if cars are let in.

All grounds only suitable for day games for broadcast.

Hurtful.

Is that the pea hearts running up the white flag that you referred to once or twice this season?

Why would SA get chosen..........?????

Not like they need to focus on developing the game in this state.

Crowd wise if you were coming to SA you might as well do it in Victoria where at least half the teams will be playing with home crowds so attendances will be much larger. You then dont have to move half the sides either.

We would be the last state to get a crack at this imo.......unless it becomes a government bidding war and we for some reason pump so $$$ into it.

It had over 20K there for a Port game in the 70's. Baulderstone stand gone but rest of the oval still the same.

Norwood would need a serious upgrade, their coaches boxes dont even have a power outlet in there

In that case only the teams that are coached from the boundary should play there.
