Prison bar faithful triggered by this …. Even more so when you sing their song after this game!

It's Notre Dame's song! No footy team owns it!

PS Fos Williams stole it from South Melbourne who stole it from Notre Dame.

Notre Dame licensed South Melbourne to use the song in 1961.

That front on free kick was a disgrace

Agree, surely this puts an end to the ridiculous calls wanting a Wildcard final involving the 9th and 10th teams. Would just be rewarding another two average teams

Absolutely it will. Massive set of scrubbers in 8th this year.

Really the only team outside the too 4 that could actually cause a bit of grief is Sydney. Every other side is making up the numbers.

Sydney are locks and not a bad side.
In 7th and 8th you will have 2 of Freo, West Coast, GWS, St Kilda, Essendon, Richmond or Carlton. All are absolute garbage and with Port and Sydney likely finishing 5th and 6th they would beat any of those sides by 10 goals in a final

They are one of the flakiest sides in the comp. Port will absolutely belt them in Melbourne this week

Hahaha, you underestimate the greed of the TV execs and AFL. Surely you're joking if you think this puts an end to it? All it needs is a team to finish outside the 8 on percentage (or worse still 'a draw') and the boffins will be up in arms asking for wildcards and how ripped off 'x' team was that their fans were denied the opportunity to make up the numbers. The media look at the miracles of Western Bulldogs in 2016 as the example that anyone can win it from anywhere, not realising that over the course of 20 years, hardly anyone outside the top 4 wins it.

I think you are pretty spot on Gadj, think the AFL will definitely want to add the Wildcard Final as soon as they can.

Just saying how this year proves how ridiculous it would be with so many crap teams in the mix

Richmond looked done today.
They would have to pull a rabbit out the hat to figure this year.
Injuries have finally caught up with them.
They looked tired today.
I've no idea where that win came from but I'll take it.

Brisbane and Geelong their next 2 followed by Freo in Perth. Need to win at least 2 or season over
