How the hell did the Cats get so many free players in that last surge forward?

Fatigue mate as you well know

Push forward for the previous play, ball gets turned over, ball gets partially cleared comes back Dogs can’t get back and across to the grandstand pocket, mark to Rohan.

This is the plan of limiting rotations. Fatigue creates free players as they can’t do the full ground press/squeeze of the late 00s/early 10s.

Dogs fans can thank the ex Cat player Stephen Hocking for that loss….

Possibly, however Cats players would have been following dogs players forward also, or their structures fell apart or Geelong cheated a bit and had a couple of players forward of the ball that Bullies did pick up on (ala Centrals v Glenelg semi 2008) if this was the case its brilliant coaching

Would love to see the behind goal vision of that last minute

That’s my point fatigue prevented Geelong players following the Digs players when the ball got relieved from the Cats forward line with 30s to go.

That or they backed their mates to get the pill with the 50:50 ball and rolled the dice.

After 119 min (hi Port fans) out of 120 min of footy both sides were cooked and so the game opened up.

The one thing I like about the Dogs is they play an attacking style.
The McCarthy style is living on.

The obligitory rubbish game in Tasmania.
Clarko playing two men loose in the back lines from the 5 minute mark and we are too dumb to work it out. Not helped with our skills

The umpires are the perfect fit for the standard of the match too

Sounds and looks like more Essendon supporters at the game.

Launceston, “See Hobart? That’s how you get a crowd to the footy”

Ess v Haw helps compared to Fitz v NM.

Lol, they’re talking about giving him a 4 year contract on the radio. He’s had a day out against the second bottom team.
I wouldn’t touch him with a 10 ft barge pole.

Finally an easy weekend of tipping!
Good to have the first and last games of the weekend worth watching.
Stringer was amazing!
How good is the Bombers support right around the country!

Played well against West Coast in Perth a few weeks ago. Still one of our most important players. The penny seems to have dropped for him and he is in the best shape of his life. I wouldn’t be overpaying him but I hope we keep him
