Anyone else absolutely bored shitless with the coverage of it tonight?
The sooner David King is no longer on our screens the better

Really surprised he got off. The AFL seem to have done a complete 360 in regards to how they suspend for incidents involving head contact.

I have no problem with what Mackay did, clearly there was not malice or intent in the incident but it must be frustrating for clubs and players seeing the inconsistencies with how the AFL handle these situations.

That could be the biggest insult I've seen on this forum

If you think about it, it was played out perfectly.

If the MRP gave him games most of us throw our arms up, if the MRP don't give him games the rest of us throw our arms up.

In an age where the AFL is, rightly, protecting the head, to send the matter to the tribunal gave the game a chance to test it's own rules, it gave the game a chance to see ( from the tribunal members point of view anyway ) is the game doing enough to protect players from this type of injury.

The tribunal got it right, as such so did the AFL. Someone was seriously injured, a head injury and the game needs to know how we prevent that from happening and in this instance we see that collisions happen in football and there's no liability for playing at the ball.

Mackay walks free, the game sets a line in the sand, players can attack the ball and we still know if you don't go the ball, you bump and you injure the bloke you get games.

This is a win/win in my book.

I’m pretty sure his brother Wayne posts regularly on here.

of AFL - yes. Opinionated rubbish. I used to watch all the AFL related shows, now they're just visualised clickbait.
