Not sure why blaming Eddie/Collingwood is gonna get Port anywhere..
It's their own administration that ****** it up
But God forbid they acknowledge that small part of the problem.. [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

Not sure what sort of clock as he was terrible last night.
The crows lacked forward entries but he didn’t get anywhere near it.
None of their forwards did.

Has not been the same player since he hurt his ankle against Freo?maybe Hawthorn

I thought the crows would have learned from last season and given him a rest to freshen up.

Spot on. Drop the magpie song too and adopt the aqua V jumper. Can't be one club with two nicknames, guernseys and songs

Not sure if youve noticed but they dont really have two nicknames anymore, they dont even have one. The Power is never used in media anywhere. this doesnt happen by accident. Their logo is PA, with the wharf pylons at the bottom, whilst every other club uses its nickname. They are trying very hard to distance themselves from the Power and the old lightening strike. But isnt that their heritage, what did they wear in their one and only premiership, seems strange they want to forget the only bit of successful heritage they have.

Yep a quick look on the merch store website and you won’t find to much with the Power name and next to nothing with a lightning bolt.

I actually think it’s a pretty decent idea though to just brand themselves as PA.

I dont think it helps or hinders their cause, of course it will be (already has) blown out of proportion for the next week, but does Collingwood, AFL or anyone else really care what they wear off field?

Yeah I reckon the AFL care that Port were trying to make such a public point against a decision they made.

Especially as there is the whole IP/branding issue more so than just the onfield guernsey.

IMO it has the potentially to significantly hinder them and 0% of helping anything. Risk vs Reward. Personal opinion is the AFL won’t punish overly hard but it will come with a don’t ask about the prison bars for xxxxxx amount of time. All they have done is unite their fans further but they were already majority United on the issue.

The longer the AFL don’t speak the more you have to think it will be punished significantly. If the AFL don’t care they would come out today and say something along the lines of it was off field, no problem, play on.

None of their forwards did.
Clurey did a great job on Walker to keep him to 3 kicks/6 disposals, 2 marks and most importantly just the 1 behind. Clurey himself had 17 disposals with 10 intercept possessions and 7 seven marks.

The Crows have been extremely reliant on Walker as an avenue to goal so far this season, he is the highest contributor to his teams score in the competition at the moment as he has contribution of 40.2% to the Crows goals and goal assists.
Equal second on the list is Harry McKay and Tony Greene at 32.6% of the Blues and Giants goals and goal assists respectively.

The thought Clurey was great last night.
First full game I’ve watched for the season of a Port game and I thought Alir was good and sounds like the hype around him is justified.
He makes a massive difference to that back line.

It's been said before but the recruitment of Alir has been a master stroke in that it filled a spot they needed filling and it cost them stuff all.
Port's backline were great last night as there were periods when the Crows were on top in general play but they kept repelling them.
I was riding most defensive efforts as I had a multi for Port to win every quarter at the line and it was close most times.

Aliir is just about the recruit of the year so far. Definitely has made a massive difference to Ports defence being a strong marking key defender which Port haven't had with Clurey, Jonas and McKenzie in recent times.

Didn't take long for the wanker goal umpire alert to be activated.

Do the AFL umpires only have light blue and light green kits this season?

Your president called a report acknowledging your club had a history of systemic racism a proud and historic day, he rightly stepped down, your last trade period was a disaster, list management laughable, looking up at everyone from the bottom and the coach on thin ice. You're going beautifully.

Lol Ed, this is just embarrassing

"Haha, no, nothing from me. All I will say is that the AFL may be saying nothing, but that is a direct poke in the eye to Gillon McLachlan and the AFL Commission. They're playing with fire now Port Adelaide on this, because they have signed an agreement that they would not manufacture any of those jumpers for merchandise, and as we've seen in the crowd, they're starting to overplay their hand a little bit here. It's moved out of Collingwood and Port Adelaide. Now they're taking on city hall, who give them seven million dollars a year more than any... than, uh, the Collingwood Football Club. That's fire. So, there you go. David Koch is sticking his nose into AFL territory now. It's a big snized snose (sic) and I hope he doesn't get it broken."

If that goal umpire can't see that is a goal get off and get one of the fathers to do it.
