Not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but has anyone else noticed how expensive tickets are this season? I paid $60.00 for an Adult ticket to AO this Saturday as an Essendon Member and it is waaaaayyyyyy up the back. I have never paid this much for a ticket before anywhere in Australia.

$85 as a Essendon member behind the goals. Probably because for 2 quarters we will see a heap of action :)

Carlton/Collingwood should be a cracker with 75% capacity.

Like what I saw from Carlton last week but we have seen them perform well in round 1 only to end up being the same old. Reckon they are good value at the bookies at $2.

Sydney/Adelaide should be fun to watch with neither team expecting to be 2-0. The Buddy value gets Sydney over the line, reckon the young lads will find an extra leg having Buddy on the field with them for the first time.

Brisbane/Geelong will be the opposite to the above game, this will be tense and tight. Neither team expecting to be 0-2. Whoever loses this one will be written off but both have enough quality that 0-2 isn't quite the end of the world.

I reckon the Dogs make a bit of a statement and give the Eagles and solid belting. The Dogs for mine are the slight dark horses...…….that midfield

Of the last 58 times a team went 0-2, only 5 times did they play finals that year.

Top 4 spots usually lose 6 or 7 max throughout the year, for one of the Cats/Lions 0-2 means top 4 looks a long way off given they haven't faced Port, Richmond, West Coast, St Kilda or the Bulldogs, some of whom they may face twice still.

Majority of those teams would be bottom 8 teams anyway, plenty of teams lose 2 games in a row during a year and still play finals

0-2 just seems way worse, you're at least 2 weeks away from being even and you're playing catch up, you'll play your star player despite being only 75% fit where you probably wouldn't in round 15 in the same circumstance.

Yeah, that's why I went the "cheaper" option. Taking Junior with me too so a pretty expensive exercise.

Both will play finals. Neither side should go any worse than 0-2 with Geelong getting the Hawks and Brisbane getting the Pies in round 3.

As mentioned before I think Geelong will finish 5th-6th.

The interesting one for Brisbane is Lachnie Neale, he had an interrupted pre season, an average community cup game and then didn't set the world on fire in round 1. If he cant recapture the form he had can they win enough first possession. ps. I have him in my fantasy team :(

Bullies were 0-2 last year and played finals. Richmond lost in Rounds 3 & 4 and won the flag.

I think Brisbane will struggle to make the 8.

This year they have to travel. Had a huge advantage last year playing at home.

They play Geelong, Richmond, Collingwood, Fremantle and Gold Coast twice.

Hipwood and Daniher is one too many one dimensional one effort players who have the smacked bum face look down to an art.

Yeah I don't think Brissy are morals to play finals (at the moment you'd still think they will, but I think their genuine chance at a flag with this group might have passed).

Now to see if that suitably jinxes the Cats ;)
