Great to see a winner like Wines. Plays the game as it should be played, hard, tough, fair and he never gives up. Magnificent.

Also very happy for Boak, he does an enormous amount of work with the Childhood Cancer Association and is a role model in every sense. Both very deserved winners.

Now to look at 2022 futures :

Parish, Walsh, McCluggage, Taranto and the likes of Bontempelli, Petracca, Wines and Oliver will be the ones to look at for the Brownlow.

Melbourne, Bulldogs, Port and Sydney and I'm not sure who else I throw into 2022 premiership calculations.

Carlton v Sydney - Marvel - I think Carlton, Sydney's defensive intercept marking needs to be at it's best to get over the Blues, but Ladhams and Hickey could control the air for the Swans. Toughest game of the round. No bet.
Geelong v Port Adelaide - Geelong - Cats should win, their big forwards always a tough match up for Port, well, anyone really. Hayes v Stanley means no real ascendancy for either midfield, Miers out helps Geelong. Gray 2+ Cameron 2+ @ $3.40
Western Bulldogs v Gold Coast - Ballarat - Under the roof I give the Suns a chance, in Ballarat though it's a tougher task, Bulldogs only spluttering and the Suns at $2.90 isn't a silly bet. But no bet here.
North Melbourne v Naarm - Marvel - Naarm in a canter, 60+ $1.61 better than bank interest
