Nobody wanted him.

He was All Australian in 2017 ( named on the bench ) when he averaged 33 touches, 5 tackles and 6 clearances a game, he was elite in a side that did all but win the flag.

Compare him to this years AA midfield of Wines, Bontempelli, Petracca, Miller etc and he doesn't look anything like an elite midfielder anymore, physically and in his game style. Mitchell at Hawthorn has been gobbled up* by the new breed of big bodied mids too.

Interesting Adelaide have locked him away for 2 more years after nobody was interested in him as a FA.

West Coast superstar Hungry Jack’s has agreed to join Adelaide on a four-year deal, effective immediately.

The Crows have been in ongoing discussions with West Coast and can today confirm a deal has been finalised.

Hungry Jack’s will line-up down back - of the guernsey - in every match as the Club’s new Principal Partner.
