Also don't forget that Walker has had a slow start to the season due to injury. Part od Adelaide's form last season was son the back of his outstanding season.

He has struggled so far and fair enough when your bot 100% fit. Also with Thilthorp going down and being with Murray and Butts for the first few weeks has had a major impact.

His 76 goals included 19 against West Coast, his numbers and therefore his return was slightly skewed.

I look more to Hinge whose form is way down and Murray ( inj ) from the back half, Keays and Jones has some really good patches in 2023 but again look off the pace and Dawson, last years best and fairest, is probably the only one from the top 10 last year really holding his form.

If 9 of last years best 10 are not going as well then there's a drop off on the books.

Jordan Dawson - 132 votes
Rory Laird - 115 votes
Taylor Walker 98 votes
Izak Rankine - 92 votes
Mitch Hinge - 92 votes
Lachlan Murphy - 91 votes
Brodie Smith - 87 votes
Chayce Jones - 80 votes
Ben Keays - 80 votes
Wayne Milera - 79 votes

( 3 games in we're judging harshly but their form can be judged I'm told )

Wow, i gave you way too much credit. No wonder nobody cares that youve taken your biased revues elsewhere. You really do have a very limited knowledge of the rest of the AFL. Hinge has probably been in the Crows best 4 or 5 players this year and Dawson has been absolutely shite, the worst player for disposal efficiency by foot in the whole competition prior to Thursday night.

How's your mob going this year? Care to share a thorough review week in week out......yeah, thought not, no balls boy!
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

I wouldn't want to read his match reviews anyway, reckon there would be too much emphasis on the Left Wing

Hindsight is wonderful but how ordinary is this 5 year draft period. Don't have the time to compare to all other clubs but on paper it couldn't get much worse. Thilthorpe and maybe McHenry and Worrell the only decent pick-ups
(our pick - players of note before our next pick)

2016
15 Gallucci - Powell-Pepper, Shai Bolton, Tom Stewart
44 Poholke - Darcy Cameron
51 Himmelberg - Willie Rioli
75 Davis - Mitchell Lewis

2017
12 Fogarty - Zac Bailey (SA lad), Oscar Allen
40 McPherson - Charlie Ballard (SA lad), Worpel

2018
9 Jones - Butters
16 McHenry - Bobby Hill
30 Hamill - Curtis Taylor
64 Scholl

2019
6 McAsey - Hayden Young, Caleb Serong, Tom Green, Kysaiah Pickett, Will Day (SA lad), Cody Weightman, Sam de Koning
24 Schoenberg
28 Worrell - Trent Rivers, Chad Warner
42 O'Connor
48 Gollant

2020
2 Thilthorpe
11 Pedlar - Tanner Bruhn, Tom Powell (SA lad), Lachie Jones
25 Cook
28 Berry - Caleb Poulter (SA lad)
38 Rowe - Beau McCreery (SA lad), Luke Edwards (father/son)

A couple of those players were tied to other clubs via Academy but that's a damning overview

Isobel Borlase, sister of former Sturt and current Crows youngster James Borlase, & daughter of Aussie netball great Jenny Borlase, was just drafted 20th in the WNBA Draft to the Atlanta Dream.

Good to see the Crows getting an ANZAC commemorative guernsey and its a ripper. Sold out in 1 hour. All proceeds donated to RSL ANZAC appeal.

In fairness we do agree to wear white shorts home and away so other teams can go with their darker uniforms which is traditionally their preferred home uniforms.
But yeah I'd like to see even a different colour or something as most sports do.
Green would have been good but that's gone now
Maybe pink.
