Big one for Melbourne this weekend.

Beaten up on the lowly sides (Essendon, St Kilda, Gold Coast, Carlton ), now get a side with good structures and systems but down on personnel. Melbourne should win, they're scoring heavily with 16,16,21 and 25 goals in the last 4 matches ( albeit against the lower ranked sides ) we'll find out if their system works on Sunday.

Also note, there's a televised curtain raiser on Sunday before the Melbourne v Adelaide match, basically touted as the "Desert vs Ocean" with an Alice Springs side taking on a Darwin side.

Melbourne $1.77, Adelaide $2.06, the line is at 3.5, interesting.

Since getting whooped by Hawthorn and then Richmond in successive weeks the Dee's have played (and flogged) 4 of the bottom 5 teams.

I think there's a good opportunity to double your money with Adelaide or take the 2.60 for 1-39

I've been the one to defend Melbourne in the past where you have been the one to express doubts. I think you summed it up with 'good structures'. Adelaide has them and will win. Heart, Adelaide has that as well, two wins now when they were ravaged with injury. I reckon when Melbourne get frustrated it all gets too hard for them and they call off the camp. My tipping stinks this year so apologies Blackbirds fans I've tipped you in this one.

Yeah, we were shit last week but the only reason Geelong has struggled with Carlton in the past will be playing in Alice Springs this week. Parfitt and SavRat back is huge. Already the big youngster is a key component to our side, especially with Menzel out of action.
