Does anyone else find it "concidental" that Peter Stirling has also decided to "retire" after the same amount of time from the NRL footy show?

Or has channel 9 "retired" them

Was on for the last 10-15 mins interviewed from home. Won’t be back full time (hopefully) until next year.
Open heart surgery. From what I’ve heard is it was real touch & go stuff.
I’ve said it before, I don’t care what anyone thinks, he’s great for the game. Speaks his mind & isn’t a yes man robot like so many.

He was likely drugged to the gills and he made more sense tonight than he has in years

Despite it needing to happen a long time ago surely Rowey has to go from 5AA at the end of the year. Latest ratings has 5AA just making up the numbers and in the business they're in that shouldn't cut it. Too much choice for people listen to, be it interstate and or overseas they can access. For the sake of decent media there have to be changes made.

Im convinced FiveAA don't care about quality content, if they were fair dinkum they would have a Crows and a Port person working in tandem on the sports show, they would also have some younger talent coming thru (Pilko & KG FFS!) and not to mention there is zero diversity with not one female program...incredible really.

Correct. Diversity being the key. Years ago I suggested that they should diversify and get a non-Port/Crows person in to give different perspectives rather than inner naval gazing that happens now. I stopped listening to the drive show before I left Adelaide in the late 90's, so am I one bit surprised about their ratings. Nup.
