Go to any Crows game on the hill, and a good percentage are Port people in their Port gear hurling abuse at players and supporters all game.
Should probably worry about why Port keep throwing away finals rather than some Crows supporters barracking for your opposition.

We've all worked that out.

That I have not.

Other than having nothing better to do, which is quite sad.

Short memories

Point she was trying to make was he just took the lifestyle option and it messed with his footy. Thing she overlooked is that Sydney don’t already have a Max Gawn there

Exactly. It's only 12 months ago he chose his life away from footy over his actual job of playing footy. He's got a very visible track record of making bad decisions on that front.

Would you be saying these things if he chose Port?

He's a number 1 ruckman who went to Melbourne who have Max Gawn. It's actually possible to put club bias aside and look at things objectively. Try it.

In hindsight, the Melbourne move hasn't worked out for Grundy. A bit harsh though to characterise it solely as choosing his 'life away from footy over his actual job of playing footy' IMO.

He needed a change.

But 98% of the football world thought Melbourne was the absolute wrong choice of Club. This has been proven spot on.

Didn’t answer my question

Personally think I’m very balanced giving credit to teams where due and criticism of my team where due.

Grundy is a real different cat so Sydney would definitely suit him.
During Covid we saw him up at Alice at Hanuman’s getting tea and he strolls into the restaurant barefoot and looking like a homeless bum, picks up his takeaway order from the front counter, gets a few photos with some patrons who recognised him and then heads out the front door and hops on his push bike with the food strategically hanging on the handlebars. We did have a good chuckle

Agreed, but IMO going to the Demons doesn't amount to choosing a life away from footy over his actual job of playing footy, whatever that means.

He didn't want to leave Melbourne last year as he'd just purchased a house with his partner.

If he had come to Port he would have been the #1 ruckman. He chose to go to Melbourne (widely accepted as a mistake) behind Max Gawn because he had just purchased a house in Melbourne. Now 1 year older he's off to Sydney.
