Week one of the AFL season and there's not much to work with form wise as the JLT ( Just Like Training ) counts for somewhere between nought and nothing.

Thursday :
Richmond v Carlton

Friday :
Collingwood v Bulldogs

Saturday :
St Kilda v Melbourne
Sydney v Port
Essendon v Hawthorn
Gold Coast v Brisbane

Sunday :
North v West Coast
Adelaide v GWS
Fremantle v Geelong
PAFC. Forever.

I cannot believe they continue to persist with Carlton v Richmond every year to kick off the season!!! The certainly don't deserve it

Reckon Carlton v Richmond is a good season opener .. Long time rivals, there's never usually much between them, big crowd. Great way to start a season imho.

It is so at least one of the two can enjoy the experience of being on the top of the premiership table for at least 24 hours.

They have broken membership records with over 50k now. Should be minimum of 40k at game

Was just thinking that Port aren't a major draw card. Then again it is round 1. The fans are excited for a new season.
