GWS by 200. The only good thing to come out of the game will be our scouts get to check out their players up close to see who we want to pinch for next year[emoji1]

North Melbourne absolutely no chance after the AFL saddled them with a six day break.

6 day breaks are massive according to days, apparently cost the Hawks a premiership. Lol

It appears the impending appurtenance furnishes an affirmation of chicanery. Notwithstanding I have a prohibition vis-à-vis the byes.

Naitanui out for 8 weeks or more with both feet to be operated on today.
Scott Lycett "failed to live up to the standards the leadership group expects" ( ahem drunk ) and will miss the trip to Brisbane.
Former Port Adelaide listed, GWS and Essendon player Jon Giles will make his debut for his 3rd club having been on 4 lists.
Ruckman Scott Lycett has been left out of the team to play the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba on Saturday because of disciplinary action.
Lycett, who was expected to carry the load in the absence of injured star Nic Naitanui, failed to meet the standards set by the club’s leadership group, players and coaches after the disappointing loss to Adelaide last week.
“We are very disappointed that Scott has let the club down, but the behaviours we ignore are the behaviours we accept,” senior coach Adam Simpson said.
“We have standards and values that we expect of each other and Scott, unfortunately, failed to meet them.”

North are $3.75 against Hawthorn this week
Has a team a game clear on top ever been at such long odds?

With that many out I'd say yes. I actually didn't realize how many they had out till league teams tonight.

I expect the Hawks to shorten even more. Having 7 of your best 22 out, any team will struggle, having said that I don't think it will be the blowout many are predicting.
