Port Adelaide has delisted Peter Walsh, Ben Eckermann and Aaron Shattock, after all three served two years at the club.

In an announcement made on Friday, the Power released the trio along with two of their rookies, Tim Looby and Tom Rischbieth, in a move that will see them continue with their youth policy

That's if Walshy isn't picked up by another AFL club. Good luck to Walshy in the future. I was shocked to hear he was delisted.

I was referring to that, surely not a shock considering he played most the season with Westies and despite goof form they didnt pick him?????

No surprises there.

Matthew Bishop must be a nervous fellow at the moment.

No I'm not kidding. Unlike Bishop, Walshy gave 100% every time he got on the field for Port Adelaide.

Yes, there was some doubt as to whether or not Walsh would be with the club next year, but I would've thought that the commitee would've taken Walsh ahead of Bishop (who still may be axed if not traded). He may not of had his best year, but he still did some useful things when wearing the Power jumper, unlike a few other players, such as Bishop, Thurstans (who only had one good game this year).

While I'm not that surprised, I'm still shocked he was delisted before the players I mentioned above.

I was a little surprised to see the black nailpolish on Toby.

Bishop has value? Since when?

No surprise for me that both Shattock and Walsh have been delisted. Both play across half-back,and this year we have seen the emergence of Brad Symes and Jacob Surjan in the same positions, youth winning out there.Young Ben Eckermann is another who did little to impress this year, and struggled at times with Sturt, lost alot of confidence since that sickening bump with Tyson Stenglien almost two years ago.Good luck tothem all in the future,Eckermann may surprise and be re-drafted one day.
