Swans by six goals. Fred Gwynne to keep the Dockers in it early. McPharlin limping is the word and they are light on for key defenders against a fairly handy forward line. Farmer to lose the plot and Freo to lose the final.

Swannies < 39 is a good bet. Probably stating the obvious but their style of play usually means a tight, low scoring match. But they have been known to really punish those teams that don't finish well, but Freo isn't one of them. Freo is more inclined to lose their heads (ala Farmer) which causes them to get flogged. Hasn't happen for a long, long time though.

I can't see Freo getting too close. I think the game will be over by 3 quarter time. Pavlich will need to kick 7 and Hall and O'Loughlin not get over their injuries for Freo to have a chance.

BLINK

the only way i can see SYDNEY winning by 40 or more is if freo are out of the game at 1/4 time.

if farmer loses his cool then he should be benched immediately along with anybody else.

Who fremantle....pfft

Seriously, if and it is a big if, if Adelaide get over West Coast, I feel more confident playing Sydney than the eagles because the last two years have shown that Adelaide match up well against the Swans (3-zip our favour) because we breakdown their flooding tactics, through quick transition into the forward line and we match up well on Hall and O'Laughlin.

Far more worried about West Caost than I am Sydney. However, we are not there yet so we must concentrate on tomorrows game as West Coast is a tough ask nor do I underestimate Sydney as we will have to be at the top of game to knock them off if we get to the big dance.

Once again, an Adelaide follower who doesn't rate Sydney. Yes the Cows are 3-0 in the last two years, but when were those games again. Oh thats right. 3 meaningless minor round games. Just remember, Sydney is the only team left in the comp with a forward line. As for flooding, every team does it. But only one team can still kick 20 goals in a a game. Adelaide have been exposed. How many games have they won against sides that were in the top 8 this year? 3-4?

Flooding? pfft. I reckon Adelaide flood more than Sydney does.

I also reckon that Sydney's game is evolving into a more high scoring one with more run on the larger grounds. Wins at Telstra Stadium and the spacious Putriaco against top opposition makes them a formidable opponent in the Grand Final at the G. They will go back to back IMO.

Gees mate you must have a different English version to the one I can comprehend, how can "nor do I understimate Sydney" and "have to be at teh top of our game to knock them off" be construed as "not rating them". I'll say it for you slowly,
T H A T A C T U A L L Y M E A N S W E R A T E T H E M B E C A U S E I F W E D O U N D E R E S T I M A T E
T H E M A N D P L A Y A T 9 5 % O F O U R C A P A C I T Y I N S T E A D O F 1 0 0 % W E W I L L G E T
B E A T E N.

Yes I know we play very similar styles of footy and yes we do "get numbers behind the ball" (aka flood) - where have I suggested otherwise, a bit defensive about your teams tactics? You shouldn't be, they have been successful tactics.

If I wanted to be arsehole I could suggest you're as guilty as the crime you accuses me of, i.e. you don't rate my team (Adelaide)??

BTW if you going to make outlandish statements about "being exposed" only "winning 3-4 games against top eight teams", a word of advice, check you facts, Adelaide actually won eight games againsts top eight sides (half our wins) with four losses, maybe you were talking 3-4 nett wins?

What we didn't do well, was beat sides above us (only twice at the start of the year) mind you bit hard to do when for half the year we were sitting on top......

Last I'll say on the matter because ATM we have to worry about West coast not Sydney, no point getting ahead of ourselves and thinking too much about the outcome of todays game instead concentraing on the process

We made it :D

Can we do it back to back? That all said, I can't believe how over-confident Eagles fans are... thinking they're already in the Grand Final.

But I'm not sure who I'd want to face. Knowing our record against the Crows, I dread playing them but it's something we must overcome...
