Talk on the national game

Prelim, Swans v Freo

Initial Thoughts

Firstly the game is at Telstra Stadium where Sydney has a poor record, it's played 17 games for only 5 wins, not sure how the club feels with the game not being played at the SCG.

The obvious selection is Sydney, but their are couple factors heavy in Freo's advantage

1. The Pav, I am not sure if Sydney have a natural match up for Pav, Bolton is undersized and LRT well he will find the going tough, the other thought is Pav has had a par finals serious thus far, he is due for a HUGE game.

2. Freo's 7ft Ruckman, The swans base their entire game plan around stoppages, you feel that Sandilands can break this down by slapping the ball Freo's way, like a Keating use to do so often for the lions in finals

3. Grover, Paker, Peak, Johnson, the dockers have plent of options for Hall and MickO

X Factor will be how Freo mangers this weeks win, are they satisfied with their season or do they see nothing less then a GF acceptable
