What are they willing to give up though?
Would need a high first rounder plus a decent player

Apparently an $800K pa player is only worth a first round pick.

Though murmers that Brisbane are coming to the table on this one now that GC have expressed interest.

According to Rucci, Bombers want Hamish Hartlett for Ryder.

Wonder if Lobbe wanted out to Essendon, whether they would be so receptive of our request for a first pick + Heppell....

Soooo Hawks get a key defender after winning a flag! Waiting for the uproar..

Swans lose 8 players and pick up one big name and the footy world explode. But the Hawks lose 2 players and gain a "big name" player and nothing is said.

Going by the priority pick the dees got..... Hawks got a late round pick for buddy...

If the swans got Ryder this year there would be an outrage. Same comparison considering both are overrated

Not the rest of the league's fault your clubs poor administration has left you vulnerable to player raids because of you signing a "big name" who of course didn't deliver you the premiership that was your's to lose

Lol comparing Frawley to Buddy. Compo pick was the same for both, after there first round pick, the main difference being Melbournes position on the ladder compared to Hawthorn.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Had everything to do with Lance, your so called bloods culture has been eroded firstly by Tippet and anything that was left of it was well and truly smashed by the Lance deal. Put Mumford in your side and we dont get the dominance in the midfield.
Now impress me with your knowledge and tell me why Mumford was traded?
Yes you have the talent to make the grand final again but do u have the guts, determination and heart to actually win it? Dont think so, you play like millionaires now.

Dont compare the two players.
Frawley is a hack, barely league standard. Very disappointed to get him. Atleast he will keep Shoenmakers out though

Take your Port glasses off and tell me what do you think Ryder is worth honestly.
Hartlett I agree is a laughable proposition but considering Ryder will be in the top 5 money earners at Port surely he is worth a decent player.
To me pick 16(now 17) doesnt cut it as would pick 17 and a dud like Butcher. I think if Essendon got pick 17 plus a half decent player like Neade or Moore they would take it. I did hear them mention on SEN that two picks in the top 20 would also be acceptable, this obviously would need more clubs involved.
Beisbane are similary being ridiculous with Beams, he is worth far more than they are offering, they want Beams in but are not prepared to give up anything to get him
