Richmond will finish 10th if they lose, dont think its possible for them to finish 9th

Richmond, Collingwood & West Coast lose (smallish margin for Coasters), Adelaide win I think Richmond finish 9th
Richmond, Adelaide, Collingwood lose - West Coast win = Richmond 9th
Unlikely all round you'd think

Swans to win.
Hawks to win.
Gold Coast to beat West Coast.
Then, St Kilda wins by a point with a free - kick to Lenny Hayes after the siren and a dodgy score review that goes against the home side.
I'd like to see that!

Swans top spot is secured and even if they stuff it up they get a home final against the worst team in the top four. Richmond in top form and playing for their lives. Tiges a big chance.

Good luck mate. I forgot about mystery round they included, revealed it last night I'm actually sitting on 146 ahead by 9. One to win......hmmm North Melbourne a certainty

How do you go from 3 behind to 9 ahead with one mystery round? Just curious as my math is usually pretty good.
I'm currently equal top with another tipper in my comp but they are 28 accrued margin points ahead of me over the season. Tonights match is the final margin game so if I make up 29 or more points I go top then have to survive the weekend. Problem is ... Hawthorn by how much.
If I can't make up the points difference I need to go for a roughie to get the extra point - main chance would have to be Port even though Barlow and Pav are named for Freo they'd only be 50/50 to play and I expect late changes. Maybe Carlton and Richmond have outside chances and GC at home but not expecting to many upsets.
The difference in prizemoney from 1st to 2nd is about $500 too so strategy is vital....

Was mentioned on SEN that the AFL has done a tempory finals draw already.
Looks like:
Fri N @ MCG - Hawks v Cats
Sat @ ANZ - Swans v Freo
Sat N @ MCG - Nth v Ess
Sun @ AO - Port v ??
Obviously this could still change but the Swans game and the Hawks/Cats are locked at those time slots. The other 2 games may swap depending on results this weekend

The sucky thing is it seems we are both on the same number of tips. I should have entered his comp haha.
Port Adelaide, good coast, Carlton this week as roughies. Going for broke.

I have the luxury of our comp being run through footytips.com.au which allows you to change tips over the weekend. So if the margin strategy I have doesn't work to catch me up then I can go for a roughie (possibly based on last minute team changes or weather) and try and get in front that way. Carlton, Port, Richmond and Gold Coast in that order will be my 4 outsiders if I get desperate.

I know the above is only temporary, but it seems everyone in the media is assuming Geelong are going to finish 3rd, but they are far from being guaranteed of doing so.
