Dangerfield Ouch

Most weeks near the end of a game Danger appears to have some 'catasrophic' injury of sorts knee, shoulder, ankle & has trouble getting off the oval.

That then creates all of the match talk, for the rest of the week its a will he/ wont he play then all week?? but he always does play.

You never see Joel Selwood, Juddy, Ablett & the like show their pain for clubs to target like Danger does

Dangerfield is all about himself, that's why he'll leave the crows at the end of contract and do whats best for dangerfield.

I'm a Crows fan but I've been getting a bit sick of Dangerfield's OTT dramatics too, it happens almost every game like he's been shot by a sniper.

I remember in junior footy almost every opposition team had a 'star' player that carried on like that after going to ground like they were never going to walk properly again, right as rain the next time they got the footy in their hands. You would've thought it was something he would've grown out of by now not a good look in professional footy.

just when i thought there couldnt be a stupider thread on this site...

dangerfield is probably the hardest player in the afl right now (along with selwood imo)

you make it sound like he is faking all the knocks he gets. what complete crap.

What are you saying? They have a shithouse coach? Just beat Collingwood at the G. Premiership favourites

Benny I'm a Dangerfield fan don't get me wrong, but there is certainly some merit in his thread. As the above crows fan even stated.

He has many attributes that make him one of the best ball winners in the competition, he is however not one of the best ball users in the game.

He must learn to slow down, balance and use the ball better by foot and he needs to stop hurling it back over his head blindly when going out of packs by hand.

If he can improve his ball use by a small amount he will be one of the very best all round players in the competition, until then, he has, IMO, some work to do.

Don't touch our Patrick. ^ The grannies' favourite.

For what it's worth Sloane's a harder, more traditional Aussie rules player and I'd have him in my side before Dangerfield, if I had to pick one.

A stupider thread? Don't think so, this isn't the only place it's being discussed. And I know it's being discussed in the halls of power at West Lakes. Must be something in it...

it is being discussed how he goes down like he is shot? hardly.

it is being discussed that we need to get him more outside ball so he doesnt get banged up every game. not that he is faking injuries which is what OP is suggesting basically.

and booney i agree he isnt the best user of the ball but thats neither here nor there for this thread. and i think in space he is much better, he does so much of his work under pressure that his efficiency drops as a result

Wrong.
It's all over social media and other football forums.

And, I know for a fact it is being discussed at AFC. Including by players.

Or just something Crows supporters didn't want to come up.

I personally couldnt care less what he does. Aslong as he keeps winning the footy for AFC he can do cartwheels for all I care.

As Boon said, needs to improve his disposal for sure.
