Pretty uninspiring round.

Take NM, Freo, Geel, Port and Ess all 40+

I reckon Carlton can cause an upset tonight. North are due to lose. Surely they can't win three games in a row?

Feels like a bye week with the crows not playing and no neutral matches that spark any interest. How Carlton managed so many Friday night games is beyond me.

All the favourites should win easy

In the next 5 games, Carlton play a Thursday night game & three Friday night games - their final round is against Essendon where times /dates obviously haven't been released yet.

Reckon collingwood hawthorn will get it given those teams will likely be around the mark for finals. Having said that it really should be port freo but I'm betting that will be a Saturday arvo game to fit into Saturday twilight timeslot for fox

I definitely think they are. North are an overated bunch of spuds who won't go anywhere this year when it counts.

So, apparently average score per game is down 13.7 points compared to last year, and is at it's lowest level since 1968

To me I haven't really noticed it, and I don't feel like the game has changed that much between last year and this year.

You lost to Brisbane. Carlton are better than Brisbane. Carlton are a chance.

Agreed but I hope they don't because I tipped them and usually when I do they lose! Hopefully tonight is different and they get up!

By that rationale, Brisbane are better than Port.

But Port were 113 points better than Brisbane.

My point being though that the opposition is always a chance against a team that regularly loses games it should win

Absolutely, the Roos will need to be switched on. If both teams are playing at their best then North win. Apart from the top 3, I think all other teams are a chance to beat each other. I don't like the old "well this team beat that team so this team is better" argument. My tip is North, but a Carlton win would not be a huge upset. I wonder if Mick has tinted the coaches box windows?

Fair point. Very even season besides the top 3 really
