If this is true, it should be interesting watching Akka lead all the young bulldogs kids astray throughout the year.

You're at it again MW. Who exactly did Akermanis lead astray at his time in the Lions den? I think he only really pi55ed off one person at the Lions..unfortunately for Akker..it was Lethal!

I did not say Aker lead anyone astray at the Lions. Besides it would be because the lions are an older more experienced side who were at the same level as Aker....the bulldogs on the other hand are young and inexperienced.
Time will tell REB, but in the end it is my opinion only, not factual.

LOL. The only side that has three 300 game players

Hope Akker doesn't lead them astray mon ami! My point was that Akker is hardly the Tarrant/Steve Johnson/Buddy Franklin nightclubbing type, no matter how often he opens that huge gob of his. I would have loved him at Catland cos the guy can play. No wonder Bore Rat is stoked.

REB

From what I have seen of the Bulldogs younger brigade (Ray, Minson, Griffen, Cooney etc.) they look like they have their heads screwed on and seem pretty switched on, so they won't be following any brash examples set by said player.
They have had 2 or 3 years following examples set by players such as Grant, Johnson, West & Smith so I don't think any would get up to the same crap Aker did at Brisbane.

Rocket Eade said he is happy for Acka to do the media stuff, as he admitted to being a media tart himself.

Aka has announced the Dogs as the club of his choice, the Lions are interested in Power and the Bulldogs obvious stratgey is bad publicity is good publicity because in a tough vic market Essendon, Pies, Richmond, Saints and Carlton get the majority of spot light
Aka will certainly bring them plenty of spot light

just on Aka's timing
you would of thought he would of delayed his announcement until after the bulldogs finals had completed, making the announcement mid-week prior to the clubs biggest game since 19980prelim in my view is disruptive,
Once again it's all about Aka and he is not even at the club yet

When has
anything ever been about
anyone else but Aker? Part of the reason so many like him so much though.(And just as many hate him as much)

IF he can have the kind of first year at a new club that the likes of Pickett, Heuskes, Cummings etc have had, it'll be great to watch him in full flight next year

In the paper this morning it was reported that the first thing Akermanis said after coming out from shoulder injury was that he was going to the Bulldogs.
The bugger was still stoned on morphine
