Rubbish, we grow our own.

But the scans showed no tear. So they reckon should be ok..

LUCKLESS Sydney Swans defender Alex Johnson needs a fourth knee reconstruction after persistent infection forced the removal of his latest LARS graft this week.

The 22-year-old had the artificial ligament put into his knee in July this year but has been plagued by infection since.

He had his first reconstruction in early 2013, followed by two LARS procedures.

All were affected by the infection, which has led to the removal of the latest graft.

Johnson has not played an AFL match since the 2012 Grand Final.

"It is obviously very frustrating but I have no choice but to attack the situation with a positive attitude," Johnson told the Swans' website.

"It has been a difficult couple of years but I love football and while I understand the challenge ahead, I am determined to get back out playing."

It is not known when he will have the next bout of surgery, or how long the recovery will take.

I reckon most teams supporters will be barracking for Norf this weekend. Would be nice to see the Swans get knocked off by the Roos and then see them buy Norfs best players over Summer :D

Ryan O'keefe has officially called it quits after no clubs showed interest in him... little bit surprised he couldn't find a club who would be interested...
Great career, and a champion

Agree, loved the way he played his footy.
34 in July, age was always going to be a barrier.

If he couldn't get a game at a shithouse team like Sydney, why would a powerhouse like Adelaide pick him up ;)

I always liked O'Keefe, especially his efforts in the 2006 International Rules series :)

Start at the 50 second mark.
