B BASSETT GLASS GILBEE
HB C BOLTON BOWDEN MCLEOD
C GOODWIN WEST GOODES
HF DIDAK HALL (V/C) O'KEEFE
F REIWOLDT FAVOLA JOHNSON (Capt)
IR LADE JUDD COUSINS
INT MCDONALD COX BURGOYNE PAVLICH
The question marks I have, I would have Johncock in front of C Bolton, also I think the Pav is in front of St Nick for a forward line position, Bowden at CHB shows the lack of Class CHB in the comp, if they are going to pick players out of position, then why not pick Rutten at CHB, for example Cousins has not played on the ball all year, he has played across HF
Unlucky non-selections Johncock, Bruce, Hodge, Kerr, and maybe even Whitnal at CHB

Spot on Syd. The selection of Bowden at CHB is an absolute joke and Whitnall should have been selected. I agree also that Riewoldt hasn't done enough to earn AA selection.
regards,
REB

I think you are on the money for the blokes who missed out and could of got in - except Hodge maybe !!!
St Nick is in there because if he wasnt the AFL could not afford the tissues !!!!

Think the team is a pretty reasonable effort given the myriad of options and combinations available, but agree with the above comments, particularly on Whitnall.
Think also that Didak was lucky ... Excellent player don't get me wrong, but I don't think he's in this class yet personally ... Think Lucas and Clement were very unlucky to miss out.

Who honestly would prefer Didak over Davey??
Overall not a bad side but I do agree with peoples comments on Whitnall over Bowden....

It is good to see Ryan O'Keefe finally starting to get some of the recognition he deserves.
I think that he easily is in the top 5 players at Sydney, and if he was playing in a Victorian team would certainly be held in much higher regarded by "those that know" than what he has been in the past.

I thought Clement would've got a guernsey in the backlines somewhere...

Maybe he was pencilled in, until he got an absolute TOWELLING on Sunday

what does edwards have to do to get some recognition, Cousins has not played on the ball all year, if you pick Cousins pick him at HF or on the bench, and pick someone who has played on ball this year for a midfield spot

Bolton deserves his spot. I would have Johncock in front of McLeod.

I respect your view and Bolton as a player but I think the selectors got it horribly wrong
Both Andrew and Stffy have forced opposition clubs and coaches to develop a game plan to stop adel attacking from HB, these two blokes have been tagged from HB during some stages of the season, Bolton is a good player but has not had this impact on the comp, this is supported statiscally
Andrew
19 games
total 430 touches at 22 per game
14 out of 19 games he has had 20 touches or more, highest 34
Has carried the ball further then any player in the league
Stiffy
22 games
435 touches at 19.7 per game
8 goals
9 games with 20 or mor touches
4 games with 15 or less touches
Bolton
Played 22 games same as stiffy
315 touches, which is 120 touches less them stiffy which is equal to 5 less touches per game
3 goals compared to stiffy's 8 goals for the season
3 games with 20 touches or more, 6 games less then stiffy
Bolton had 13 games with 15 or less touches while stiffy had 4 games with 15 or less touches
Bolton has been solid, but not All Australian
