At least alot of us aren't going to games for a genuine reason

First off I'm a paid up member and have only missed 3 games this year due to work (my tickets have been used those 3 games as well by someone else). Secondly Yesterday wasn't a Port home game. Thirdly instead of going because of my reason stated earlier I instead spent the day down at Alberton, were I had lunch and a few beers with mates watching the footy. Yes that's right I spent the day putting money back into my club. My club got more out of me yesterday then they would off if I was at AO.

Tell me again how I didn't support my club yesterday

You're having a bet each way here kickinit. What if 5000 port supporters who actually went to the game, instead decided to follow your decision?

Essendon - Daniher, Ryder and Bellchambers. The only real worry is Daniher, but on what is forecast a cold wet night I'll back a Jonas to get enough body on body to keep Daniher quiet. Ryder is more a Clurey match up. Bellchambers will have Lobbe follow him and perhaps a Westhoff drop back if needed in defence. Much like Port they play two talls and smalls rotate through the forward half. Chapman, Stanton, Zaharakis, Goddard and Howlett all with 10/11 goals this year.

Richmond - Reiwoldt is a good match up for Hombsch or Jonas. Behind Reiwoldt ( 39 goals ) Vickery ( 15 ) and out the side Martin ( 18 ) Edwards ( 14 ) and Cotchin ( 13 - 5 last week ) are not big power forwards who we need Carlile or Trengove for.

Melbourne - Dawes will, again, get Hombsch or Clurey. Dawes ( 15 goals ) Frawley ( 12 ) Pedersen ( 11 ) Watts ( 11 ) are again not the size of a Cloke/Walker/Kennedy/Franklin/Tippett.

We should, I say should, be able to cover the two big guys for the next 3 weeks, have the week off and then face Collingwood with Carlile set to return then with the extra week on top of his recovery with the split round.

Good post. Cloke in form will be a worry if Carlisle doesn't make it back for that game

Bullshit. Alfie Trebilcock has been the boot studder since 1968 and he's in no hurry to retire. ;)

Injury issues with both key defenders is a big blow - hopefully Clurey comes into the side and plays well, and signs a contract extension (I dont think hes contracted beyond next year, at this stage).

Going back to the Gray handball with Walker tackle. In the traditional rules it doesn't matter that the bloke gave off a Sharp handball. He was tackled and retarded by Walker (Yes we all know Walker has the iq of a house brick) and he gave of an apparent handball. Even if he handballed its holding the ball as he had plenty of time to dispose the pill before being tackled.

Impeys was a disgrace.

I honestly reckon if you just pay incorrect disposal, prior oppourtunity and ball it up straight away as there is a 50/50 scrimage where the ball doesn't move that you would get people back through the gates.
