West Coast Eagles 2013

First 3 rounds have been less then impressive. Alot of our players seem out of touch, we are fumbling constantly and our tackling pressure has been poor again. Rounds 1 and 2 our midfield was destroyed, having Kerr back now will help, as he is still our best midfielder IMO and Melbourne couldnt have come at a better time. Our injury list is starting to become concerning again, along with Darling,Cox and Kennedy jumping into each other when it goes inside 50, im forever waiting for one of them not to get up. I feel we dont pass to blokes on the lead enough.
Must win game tonight against Carlton, but they must get a lift from Shuey,Gaff,Butler,Cripps,Hams,Dalziell.

I think a lot of people are expecting us to go over there and get spanked. But this isn't the same West Coast Eagles at the moment, so I think it might be a lot closer than a lot of people expect. I don't think we'll win, but I don't think we'll get flogged either.

Warnock and our backline vs Darling, Kennedy and LeCras concerns me.

Against Freo and Hawks after half time we couldnt get it passed half way anyway.

In a bit of trouble WCE. Won't make the top 4 from here and haven't played well against any decent side as yet.

Hmm, not convincing but we'll take it.

For WC (given that I'm on their thread) their concerns are vast. Goalkicking being just one of them. Glass needs to be fit because you don't have anyone who can fill two positions, leader and full back.

Another horrid game for west coast. Missed easy shots, our midfield got found out again and we were made to look slow. Don't look fit enough for mine.
Miss Beau Waters terribly.
Gaff,Hurn,Cripps,Hams,Shuey,Dalziell,Butler and A.Selwood are passengers at the moment.

Really need this one tonight, Waters back is very handy, i think our forward line can cause port some serious headaches, but im concerned still with our speed, both in defence and midfield. Should be a good game

Serious problems.

Once again a small forward gets a hold of us (or more specifically Butler or Adam Selwood) we are very one paced through the middle and our skills and goal kicking has been shocking. Absolutely no excuse for losing that game on the weekend. LeCras kicks straight we win.

We need to target an elite kick through the midfield ala Goddard and a good small lock down defender.

Not all is lost for WC I think, they suffered with their shots on goal Sat and the loss of Priddis early hurt them more than people realise and left them effectively 1 down on the bench.

They played Carlton the week before who haven't played bad of late and needed to win to stop the vultures circling down Princess Park after all the hype pre-season.

Thow in the injury list they are carrying:

Mark Nicoski (hamstring) 3-4 weeks
Brant Colledge (jaw) 2-3 weeks
Nic Naitanui (groin) 2-3 weeks
Andrew Embley (foot) 1-2 weeks
Murray Newman (knee) 1-2 weeks
Patrick McGinnity (back) test
Eric Sheppard (shoulder) test
Sharrod Wellingham (ankle) test
