Heard a rumour today that Graham Cornes will be added to the Hall Of Fame tonight. Laughed at the time but he is not doing his radio show tonight. Any chance?

Achievement-wise, probably not a bad appointment

They're obviously not taking into account his time at North Melbourne ;)

I thought he didn't like the concept?

Perhaps being accepted changed his mind.

A good induction, he's certainly done plenty over a long time.

When I first heard I was only thinking of his 12 VFL games. His SANFL career and his 25 years of service in the media make him a worthy inductee

Big Bob Johnson, was too young to see him play but have read enough about to know this honour is well deserved. Won 5 flags at Melbourne and was named in the best in four of them.
Did read he played in 11 GF's in 12 years between Melbourne and East Fremantle.
Robert Harvey and Glenn Archer also inducted.
Barry Cable elevated to Legend

They all seem worthy inductees.

Perhaps not much difference in their playing careers, however Cornes had a significant coaching career, including at State level. As well as a contribution to football media.
