Current All-Australian Side

Just after the discussions in another topic, what would the current AA side be? This is my starting 22.
FF: Rioli Walker Crameri
CHF: Ablett Franklin Dangerfield
C: Sidebottom Thompson J. Selwood
CHB: Deledio Johnson Waters
FB: Shaw Richards Fletcher
1ST Ruck: Jacobs Pendlebury Kennedy
INT: Maric Watson Stanton Reilly
That would be my side at present i think. Key defenders were the hardest part for me. Brent Reilly on the bench is a smokey, i think his year has been nothing short of exceptional so far.
Other peoples side so far?

Pretty good effort CK .. I thought Richards struggled against Adelaide and Richmond but must admit I haven't seen a heap of Sydney this year, and I've always liked him so not unhappy about your choice.
I'd probably swap Reilly for Swan, but nothing really stand's out as a bad call with that lineup from the limited footy I've seen

I could probably find room for Tom Hawkins, otherwise pretty well done!

This concept is crap at the end of the year let alone in May.

Richmond fans getting excited about coming ninth again.

I picked it apart initially, but then realized it's pretty ballsy & a pretty true reflection, good work CK

Henderson from Carlton is the only dude from them I'd look at.

Quite funny the four blokes I thought long and hard about have been mentioned already. Henderson, Sean, Scott selwood and Hawkins! Hawkins was the closest for mine. Reason I didn't go swan was purely based on the fact I already had 2 midfielders on the bench and Reilly is a defender.

You could nearly have the second ruck as Dean Cox, and starting out of a forward pocket.
But you will never, ever, do up an AA team and get universal support!

I like your team CK.
But no doubt Judd would already have 12-15 brownlow votes and be leading the count yet we all know he hasnt been in the best 22 in the comp.
Should the AA team have a sub as its 22nd player?

The suggestion was this year that the AA selectors were going to look more closely at typical positions rather than picking midfielders on forward flank, so I will pick my team along those lines. So although Cyril has been average in a fair few games, he is only 5 goals off the Coleman leader and the leading small forward meaning he gets picked ahead of Dangerfield who only has 5 goals and was considered as a midfielder.
B: Lake Thompson Rance
HB: Waters Henderson Deledio
C: Stanton Thompson Sidebottom
HF: Jetta Buddy Benell
FF: Rioli Walker Hawkins
R: Jacobs Kennedy Pendles
I/C: Cox Shaw Watson Boyd
Unlucky were Dangerfield (lost out to Boyd), Fletcher (lost out to Henderson and Lake) and Maric who have had fantastic starts to the season. Swan and Jelwood would be there abouts also.
