What do you think?
these are the percentage chances of Sloan, Danger and Tippett staying at AFC beyond 2012, according to rowey.
i guess he knows more than the average supporter.

I know this topic has been up plenty of times before, but signing these three is crucial!!

With Tippet, he is our highest paid player. He isnt going to be able to get that much at GC, they are needing to secure there own talent with higher paid contracts as well.

If it comes down to money i believe he will stay, if its the dredded 'go home' factor GC should win out no matter what.

Danger will be a 5 year contact IMO and they think Rory is almost over the line.

It's just a hyperthetical that Neil Balme threw out on Melbourne radio. Wishfull thinking by Geelong IMO, I'm confident he'll will stay.

Dangerfield is being coy because it helps negotiations. I would think there is currently plenty of room to move in the Adelaide salary cap with only Tippett & Scotty Thompson being on big money. They will find him what he needs.

Anyway, when have the media been correct with any of the defections over the last couple of years?? The were too busy manufacturing stories about Tippett leaving for GC to spot the Bock signing. Then last year they were so busy talking up Walker to GWS (because he comes from NSW, Broken Hill is hardly that  ) that they didn't see the Davis signing coming till the day of the press conference!

My rule of thumb is - if the media are talking about it, then they are staying.

Plus 3 1st round draft picks please!

Dangerfield will go no where, 99% signed, management just waiting until 2nd half of the year for those extra 2 years and $$$.

On Menzel, i have also heard he is a massive chance to return home but i wouldnt be giving up the world for him (coming back from a knee reco can be tough)

Of the three I'd be more concerned about making sure of signing Dangerfield and Sloane than Tippett.
I would like us to keep him too but not if it meant losing one of the other two.
I also think Walker is gradually developing into a better bet for FF than Tippett.

So if Danger is staying, who's going by your own logic? McKay?

It's nice to see signs today that I may have been right when I said this in May 2012...
