With only 3 more sleeps until the season begins I thought I wold have a look at the possible side to take on GC this coming Sat.

With a very good pre season base in all of the squad we are in a great position to start 2012. We finally have a game style that will assist our forwards and can see us kicking a few big scores.

We are lucky we have GC first up with Rutten being an unlikely starter as they don't have any Cloke/ Buddy type forwards that will trouble Shaw and Talia. Our forward line is one of the strongest I have seen for a long time and the addition of Lynch will take a lot of the double teaming off of Walker and Tippett.

Surely Jaench will play off half back?

I thought McKernan might play also because of Ruttens injury.

If he is uncertain at this stage it may be wise to not play him until he is fully recovered in the hope he will then hold up for the rest of the season.
