Great appointment, so much to look forward to in 2012, hoping and confident of a top 8 finish building towards a serious premiership push in 13,14,15.

I really like Brad Scott's handling of the situation. Straight shooter, no Malthouse/Craig cryptic bullcrap.

Wouldn't say that. The kangas released that generic statement to start off with, but then because of innuendo (which is true but apparently not related), he came out and said what really happened

I wouldn't pin that on Scott though. Scott saw the innuendo, IMO took it upon himself to clear the air and stamp out the cr@p.

I get what you're saying regarding the vague release and media dodging by Arocca and co but overall, I think Scott's comments have diffused the situation, which admittedly, should not have been there in the first place.

NM - Brad Scott = gun.
Geel - Chris Scott = gun.
BL - Michael Voss = gun.
Geel - Nigel Lappin = gun.
Rich - Justin Leppitsch = gun.

I'm sensing a pattern here.... 8)
