Feel free to post what you think your club's best 22 for 2012 will be.
BRISBANE LIONS
F: Karnezis, Lisle, Zorko
HF: Banfield, Brown, Polec
C: Rich, Rockliff, Raines
HB: Drummond, Patfull, Hanley
B: Adcock, Merrett, McGrath
R: Leuenberger, Redden, Black
I: Longer, Lester, Docherty, Green
I see 2012 as being break out years for Jared Polec and new draftees Billy Longer and Sam Docherty.
Our centre square combination should continue to build on 2011, with Rockliff and Redden beginning to join the elite midfielders in the competition, taking some of the slack from Simon Black.
Hopefully we can keep Brown and Merrett on the park all year as they are crucial to our finals hopes.
Overall, its not a bad side, but we need big seasons from Daniel Rich, Josh Drummond, Jed Adcock and Todd Banfield to be successful.
I reckon we'll finish between 9th and 12th though.
I'd be happy with 9th and then hopefully have a crack at finals next year.

That is a shocking team. Thank God i'm not a lions supporter.

They'll be ok.
Give them a year or 2 and they'll play finals.

Brown obviously. But I reckon Lisle is a good proposition up forward.
I'd expect Longer to spend time up there too.

Browny is my favorite all time player but he just cannot stay on the park. Cannot see that team kicking 15 or more goals a game

That's the key.
If he does stay on the park then he'll kick 60+ goals.
But like you said, he's struggled over the past few years.
Last year's were freak occurrences though, nothing to do with his body breaking down like in previous seasons.

Also, that's the team that had your mob on the ropes until Brown went down at the start of the final quarter last year.

B - Logan, Carlile, Trengove
HB - Thomas, Chaplin, Hartlett
C - McCarthy, Cassisi, Pearce
HF - Brad Ebert, Butcher, Gray
F - Westhoff, Schulz, Brett Ebert
1R - Renouf, Boak, Wingard
I/C - Rodan, K. Cornes (only play him as a tagger, otherwise probably Broadbent IMO), Lobbe, Pittard (SUB). Pittard very quick and can utilise that position quite well.
I think we have a much better and more developed side than what we had last year. I really like our youngsters that are coming through and having played in a side last year that struggled to win a game, they were able to gain the experience required to start making inroads on a long and illustrious AFL career. I expect us to finish about 11-12th this season but will be very surprised if we finish any higher.

West Coast
B: Waters Glass M.Brown
CB: Hurn MacKenzie Butler
C: Gaff Priddis Rosa
HF: Lecras Darling Embley
F: Lynch Kennedy Nicoski
R: Cox
Kerr
Shuey
Bench: A.Selwood, Natanui, S.Selwood, Sheppard
Embley gets a start. He is one injury away from retirement. He has to many similar players waiting in the wings(Swift,Masten,Strijk)
Quality young players adding depth A.Smith, Schofield,Hams,McGinnity. I guess they wouldnt have recruited Josh Hill if they werent going to play him. Even though he is very gutless.

My Round 1 side for Richmond:
B: Morris, Moore, Rance
HB: Newman, McGuane, Houli
C: Deledio, Jackson, Conca
HF: Ellis, Vickery, Grigg
F: King, Riewoldt, Nahas
R: Maric, Martin, Cotchin
Int: Connors, Astbury, Tuck, Batchelor
Would love to pick Ben Griffiths but would need to prove himself over a few weeks in the VFL, not only for form but to show his body can cope. Guys like Graham, White and Edwards can't keep getting games consistently if we're to make the eight.

That's a great looking side.
I'd expect WC to challenge again this year.

No Russell or Carrazzo in the senior side? That's a good sign.
I'd like to see the Blues at finish at least top 4 this year.

I reckon I'd start Rodan on the field every day of the week.
That bloke's a gun.
Definitely before Brett Ebert anyway.
