Reading the whole article, it seems that they are putting together quite a football department.

Good to see the administration pulling out all stops to give Sanderson a quality team.

Initially I didnt want Bailey or Eade anywhere near the Crows, but with the way it seems to be structured I am happy with his appointment. I like the fact that Camporeale is out of the Midfield and Bailey should do a good job with that. Will be interesting to see who takes over from Ben Hart in DEF, Milburn would be a good tough mentor but rookie line coach and rookie head coach could be a bit to much (Sanderson being a former defender helps I spose).

Happy with what we have formed to date.

Bailey is a good get IMO.

Would be hilarious if Adelaide were to snatch Brad Ebert out from under Ports nose too.

Clearly its going to be a bitter pill for some of the membership to see staff moved on and others taking their places, yet as discussed before its a neccessary step that the club must take to move forward. Think Bailey is a very good appointment and a good compliment to Sanderson, Bailey has stated that he is very much looking forward to working under Sanderson and I suspect that Bailey might enjoy some of the resources at his disposal that he has not had at Melbourne.

As for Ebert I hope the AFC dont fall for that, it great that Russell Ebert was one of the champions of SA, yet Brad Ebert is a fair player at best and not the bootlace of what Russell Ebert was, simply picking people on thier surnames is going to get either the Power or the AFC burnt fingers. The lad is struggling to hold his place at West Coast, hence likely why he wants to go to Port where he has a much greater chance of getting a game. The AFC would be far better off focusing on the likes of Byron Sumner from the Swans who clearly can play and has the capacity to take his game much further, the lad kicks 50m on his left foot and has a lot more potential for the club IMO.

In hindsight to Ebert, being dropped for the finals didn't really help his cause, If West Coast don't rate him to be in their final 18 when it counts its something that must be taken into account! Clearly its also helped motivate him to look elsewhere which is probably the right decision also.

Mate I think the point is what Bailey's main job would be, helping the newbies along. I think Milburn would be great looking after defence, and Bailey was a very good choice for this position. At least they (the board) are looking to do something and not let things just run along as they did under Craigy.

I might get shot down for this but I believe Scott Thompson wasnt exactly setting the world on fire when he was at Melbourne, look at him now.
Think the crows would be silly to not look at Ebert, can read the play well and with some hard work can improve on his disposal efficency.
Just need to work out a fair trade so either club doesnt lose out.
