No Deledio off Half Back ahead of Rob Murphy? So James Kelly has had a better year than Scott Thompson? Plus the skipper was Captain of a team which finished bottom?

Hell Carlton had 3 blokes ahead of him on the goal kicking list and he still gets a gig.....

Marc Murphy on the HFF is a ******* joke.

Thought Scotland was a tad unlucky from a Carlton view.

Juddy V.C

Petrie looks to me like his is the back up ruckman as well as being able to play forward

That may have got him in there ahead of the other forwards in the squad

I don't mind his AA selection TBH

I reckon even Dutchy will tell you he is a very average back up ruckman!

I know but he's done well as a forward this year I reckon

He has the added flexibility of being a back up ruck if needed given they haven't selected a second straight ruckman

I have no problems with Gary Ablett as the captain, think he has done enough this year to prove he is not only a fantastic player but a worthy leader. Almost single handedly kept the GC in a lot of games this year.

McPharlin was robbed, he is criminally underrated.

Plenty of other interesting selections, Swan / Petrie / Scarlett / Kelly / Boyd / Murphy

Wells played majority of the year on the wing surely?

Swan was lucky, thompson unlucky, petrie very lucky, goldsteing incredibly unlucky. kelly deserving.

I'm not unhappy with Petrie's selection. The guy could hardly walk this time last year he was a sad sight. However, Wells ahead of Murphy? Nah.
