On a side note, Jamie Charman also retired today (didnt think that deserved its own thread)

Well done Chad, well done.

One of the modern day footballers who could play in all positions on the ground. Will best be remembered as a CHB who took Port to two McLelland Trophys in 2002-2003 and a Premiership in 2004.

If every player at every club played with the passion that Chad has over the years we would be witness to a different game, for Chad bled for the guernsey.

I'm not sure how I feel about him playing his last game this week. Do I want to see him play out the year or do I want to see him finish up on Saturday night after Collingwood have had their way with us?

To be honest, this bloke deserves to go out on his terms.

Polarised many fans over the years, but as rightly said, the passion he displayed for the club every time he went out there for Port was great to watch. Should be proud of his achievements at the club and in AFL overall. Disappointing final season, when it looked that he still had enough to offer to be a part of things, but hopefully he is not lost to the game altogether.

Any news on whether he's going to see the year out at Glenelg ala Josh Carr last year?

Always liked Cornesy except when he played Carlton.

He looks better in this photo Booney;

Did find it funny how he said he enjoyed playing for Glenelg earlier in season but after a few games he struggled to "get up" and play for them.
