What is the value of these new stats pinched from other codes.
ie time in possession straight from soccer who cares?
then meters gained straight from gridiron what a waste of space!!
and stoppages 7.8.50 what the!!
Turnovers ??
Kick-ins 1.0.6 duh!!
just to fill in space for a paper or give someone punching crap into a laptop something to do?

Don't you know about the new fashion in football Reddeer? Without stats sheets, the modern football fan can't discuss the game.

Actually, when I mentioned people not able to discuss football without stats sheets, it was you I was thinking of.

Something I'd be really interested in is the metres gained rule. Just for comparisons sake with 80s footy for example - how far does the ball travel forwards compared to now? Even though they say the game is quicker, I'll bet the ball does not travel as far up and down the ground.
